Scenic Flight: "40 min. around Vienna"
With our grand helicopter tour around Vienna, you can enjoy an exceptionally diverse route with many scenic and cultural highlights!
After taking off from the airfield in Bad Vöslau, we will fly over the charming wine-growing area to the south of Vienna, the Anninger, the historic city center of Mödling, and the Vienna Woods to the Lainzer Tiergarten, one last piece of unspoiled, primitive forest on the edge of the city with its unique flora and fauna.
The helicopter ride continues past the Kahlenberg and Leopoldsberg, the "local mountains" of Vienna with their pristine forests and historic vineyards, towards the Klosterneuburg Monastery, which majestically towers over the Danube. This route provides the passenger with a magnificent view of the left bank of the Danube including the Korneuburg, Burg Kreuzenstein, and the Bisamberg.
On the return flight, we will then travel along the Danube past the world-famous wine tavern district of Grinzing, the Vienna International Center with the Uno City, and the 252 m high Donauturm (Danube Tower). You can get a glimpse of the new, dynamic district of Vienna with its modern office and apartment towers and the Tech Gate Vienna, which gives the city a new skyline beyond the Danube.
We will fly over the famous Prater, which was once the former imperial hunting grounds and today is a popular excursion and recreation area spread out over 6 km² in Vienna. You can enjoy the view of one of Vienna's most famous landmarks, the Ferris wheel, and all the attractions of the "Wurstelprater" amusement park.
The last leg of the journey along the Donau-Auen National Park and the Schwechat airfield overlooks the Magna Racino horse racing track, the "Sisi-Schloss", Laxenburg, and a stunning mountain panorama with the Leitha Mountains, the Schneeberg, and the Hohe Wand.
